Preventative Treatments

1. Dental Check Ups

Dental check ups are really important for patients that have already made restorations in their mouth, so we could analyze all your previous root canal fillings, direct restorations, crowns, onlays and inlays. A regular dental check up is essential because they help keep your teeth and gums healthy. You should have a regular dental visit at least every 6 months or as recommended by our dental professionals.

2. Sealants

Reduce the risks of cavities with sealants; It’s plastic material that is applied to the teeth, hardens, and provides a barrier against plaque and other harmful substances. Most commonly applied to teeth that have deep grooves in your back teeth to prevent decay from happening, as these grooves are hiding places for bacteria to grow and eventually cause decay. In fact, sealants have been shown to reduce the risk of decay by nearly 80% in molars. This is especially important when it comes to your child’s dental health.

3. Fluoride Application

Fluoride is often called nature’s cavity fighter and for good reason. Fluoride, a naturally-occurring mineral, helps prevent cavities in children and adults by making the outer surface of your teeth (enamel) more resistant to the acid attacks that cause tooth decay. The fluoride dentists use in these treatments is similar to the fluoride in toothpaste. However, the treatment contains much higher doses and may offer more rapid benefits. Fluoride gel application is applied by using a tray and left in the mouth for 4 minutes. The result is a large reduction of decay in both permanent and milky teeth.

4. Professional Teeth Cleansing
